Sorry, I can't help with receiver specifics as each model/make has it's own way of setting things up.
On mine for example, I would have just scrolled to the bottom of my satellite list on the setup and simply added a new one if necessary. This looks to be the support site for Hirscmann receivers it is in German, so I can't make head nor tail of it  http://www.hirschmann-multimedia.de/

you have got a better SW, i think. i have no such options at all.. any way let me chk the hirschmann site. thanks anyway! I have some more doubts on the settings. I will ask them later. Quote:

Issue is solved!
I got some helps from Hirschmann -Rankweil (AT) department. The Reciever cannot be updated. But there is still a solution. One should search the TP of EB9° under Menu > Search > Expert Search > satelite Hotbird (as there is no EB), and the corresponding Frqs, Pids etc... Save the channel. It will be shown as " MANUALIN" at the end of the list. then slightly move the dish for some MILLIMETERS... You will get the Signals @ ur Sat. Reciever. Now I am enjoying some channels from india (FTA) for the time! Hearty thanks to all those who supported me...herer :flower: |
