I have a problem:
I want to get some channels from India on Eurobird 9° E. But the satelite doesn't show in this receiver. How can I update it? is there any SW for that? Can I get the site for that sw?

Ich habe folgene Problem.

Ich möchte manche Kanale aus Indien suchen. Sie liegen in Eurobird 9° E.
In diesem Gerät zeigt es keine solche Sat.

Wie kann ich die Software upgrade machen? Was brauche ich dazu?
Wo her kann ich die SW herunterladen?

Just use the settings for Eutelsat W1 at 10E and add the extra frequencies in. EB9 is transmitting at such high strength the 1 degree mismatch wont do any harm whatsoever.

By the way most of the southern asian channels on 9E will be going secure scrambled in the near future as part of a new pay tv service. This service will not be marketed in the UK as many of the channels are part of Sky UK

These are the channels I see on my STB:
Astra 19.2, Astra 28.2;
Eutelsat F2, F3, F4
Hotbird
Turksat 1B, 1C;
Koppernik 2, 3;

Intelsat K, 601, 605, 705, 707, 803, 806;

These are satellite names not channel names.

It does look a bit out of date too, as some of them are not listed on the main Lyngsat tables anymore. Arabsat 2A for example.

Also it would have been more useful with the positions as well.

Looks like Arabsat 2A was/is at 20E. Since there is nothing on it, you could always change its position to 9E, change its name to whatever you want, delete any transponders it did have and manually add new ones:-

you should then be in business once you have scanned.

But how can i change the position of arabsat to eb 9°?
btw there is no way to change the name of the sat.
