help needed please

hi all,
i am in need of a bit of help,well i am new to all this but am willing to learn.I got an old ntl box which was working up to 4 weeks ago then one day everything was gonne i tried to contact the man who use to program my fun card but was told that he had moved back to manchester.so i decided to have a go at it myself.ok i got myself a card programmer infinity pheonex usb down loaded the card programming file from bigmaq toolbar and off i went.I loaded the flash hex on the first line of the panel and int eeprom on the second lineof the panel phoenex mode then selected write, once i done that the panel appeared showing the card being loaded then it said done no errors.Itook the cad out put it in my box switched it on and off a couple of times but no good. am i doing somethig wrong or am i missing something ???? all your help will be much appreciated thank you all

you need to put your ird and bk for that box in the xteep.hex.you create it using toxic.

also be sure you use everything for your service,in otherwords if its ntl where you are use ntl flash.you dont need inteep but,you must create the xteep with toxic,i put whatever for cam,ird backwards,bk the normal way round and i just put in the latest keys on key 0/1.

get bigmaq if you aint as you will most likely need it at some stage so nows a good time if you aint got it already.

The bk is the box key which is right b****r to find if you don't know it and the ird is usually found written on the card. Could he not he just getaway with load the flash only that he would not need to know bk or ird? Did you load the correct flash for your area?

Open your box there should be a barcode and number on top of the scart socket

every box has an ird and a bk.can you look and see if there is anything on the box that was written there in marker.the ird is 4 setes of 2 numbers/letters and the bk (box key) is 16 numbers and letters.

each box has a unique ird and bk.without these you cant get the card to work,therefore you wont get all the channels unlocked.

can you tell us if there is anything written on the box,like underneath or on the side that is done by hand and what model/make box have you got?

Theres a possibility that as you have written to the card you have wiped the external eeprom,this is the section that would hold the toxic/.nagra file with your bk and ird on it,try reading the exteep and see what you get,
You dont need phoenix to program a funcard ust use the smartcard function and select prussian 2 (fun4)
What box is it youve got?
On the underside is there an 8 digit code and a 16 digit code written on there (would be written not printed on any lables)
This would be the bk and the ird possibly.
If you havnt got them and there not on the card (prob wiped as i said) then you need to extract them from the box,now depending on what box it is depends on the method you would use.
