Hi

I have recently got my Pace D1000 box back working, but the audio descriptor for every channel is on and I cannot turn it off. This is becoming annoying havng somebody describe the film / program to you that you are watching. I have tried all of the button on the remote control, but the settings button does not have any effect on the box.

It would be very helpful if somebody knew the answer to my problem.

You need to get into the settings menu on the box to turn it off,if the button dont work then either the remote is broken (that button) or its the wrong remote,but yes it can be turned off

Thank you for your help Marc. I have 2 remotes for the box, both remotes work fine except for calling the settings menu. Is there any other way of accessing this menu?

Try pressing tv guide and see if you can get in that way you used to be able to get backwards into the menu that way
