I have installed it yesterday,been new to this I may be wrong but does it seem to work faster than the last version?

seen reports that Digitaal is down on 108 now is that the case?

at work right now so cant confirm

Yes, it's been confirmed, no doubt underworld 109 will be released soon.
Underworld 109 already released, with a new bonus:
