Default Just Cant Be Done

Hi

No matter how hard i try, whatever method i use, i just cannot connect to the dbox. anyone know why that is?

can anyone help me out, prefereably on msn?

also could someone in the east / west midlands area do my box for me please?

We might be able to answer your question if you gave us a clue as to what you are doing and how you are doing it! Connecting successfully to Dbox is tricky enough without having to read your mind as well.
Are you using direct cable connection, or router, do you have a working image or have you the dreaded "kein system" message etc etc?

im connecting using ethernet cable, but will now be using a router instead

once i connect, then i think i know what to do but im not sure lol.

make sure its a CROSSOVER ethernet cable or you will get no-where

If you are using a router then a crossover cable is NOT needed because the router itself performs the cross. Just use a normal straight through cable.
