Hi mate,
Welcome to techwatch, not wishing it to sound like a pun, but the skys the limit, if your pockets are deep enough. With the right box ( a dreambox) you could get everything that is gettable, including Sly, if you use your Sly card in a card sharing ring, bit of a Gray topic though it is. If you can wait you would even be able to get one of the new dreamboxes the 800/8000 series. You need to know that the dreambox is not a work out of the box receiver, it needs a lot of input from the owner and you would need to be fairly computer literate to get the best from one. You would also require an always on broadband connection for the card sharing ring. Very best regards Wez

Ok that gives us a starting point.
An 80 cm dish mounted on a motor and one of the Technomate range would be an excellent starting point. If you are really short of money buy the motor later and just start with the dish and the receiver. You will get plenty of channels with a fixed dish - I started in the hobby with a dish mounted on a car tyre! One of the dish farm still lives on a tyre ![]()
