hi guy,new to this forum,brothers ntl modem has gone off,what do i do to turn it back on,will i need a new mac address,if so how?

Hi guys, Im running a SB4200i with hackware on a 20meg mac but with vm capping its down to about 6meg, can anyone tell me how to try and force it
with the new config, tried just putting it in but wont work.

If you force the config / mac then it wont work,VM have stopped the forcing via configs if you want 20meg then youll need a 20meg mac/macs if they are capping due to download use then youll need another mac,

Thats not the case in Nottingham, been forcing the business config here for over 3 months and had no problems here, even changed my MAC the other week and its still forcing the config.

Still working here at Solihull, but 20meg and business configs are getting speed capped during the day.

use the 250_configurator and copy n paste the file name into the box near force config

. But really dude I wouldnt bother because if theres no buisness's around your area it will flag up on your system and also whats an extra 200kb on your upload :P.

i live in nottingham and wenever i force a config, it will stay on there for around a day, then it will go back to the original config for the mac, which is mid! and i have to force config everyday to the business config
