Nice one Ian, you are £5 cheaper than Argos, so you are to be congratulated. From what I can see it is a very nice box, I have a Humax 8100CI, but never use it as I have no update file for it and the last one for the box is well out of date.

For a HD box and one which will give the full EPG it is a small price to pay.

I have just one question though, will I be able to use a Northern Ireland post code to get it to work way down here in Co. Kerry? Also what would the postage to Ireland be, please?

Good luck with them mate, I am sure that you will sell more than Argos and I would imagine your install would be a bit less than them too.

Very best regards Wez

Thanks kerrywez, I am not sure about the post code issue as not played with one yet, as for the postage costs it costs me £25 to send a receiver to EIRE.

Regards
Ian

From what Ive read on DS you *should* be able to set any postcode up that you want - although the regionalisation doesnt seem to be working prroperly at the moment!

No they aren't listing all regions on their 'Regional TV section'

http://www.freesat.co.uk/index.php?p...re&genre_id=15

But as we know, the channels are already there. They really ought to have had this bit sorted before they launched.

On the Humax website in the faq's it says this

* Why do I need to enter my postcode?
You are required to enter your postcode so the freesat products can assign the correct Regional channels for your location

* My BBC channels are not for my region?
You can assign different Regional channels in the Menu> Edit Channels > Edit Customisable Channels menu; only the channels that allow changes will be available in this menu. If you require different regional channels then you can enter a different postcode.

* Can I change the BBC channels to a different region?
Yes, the BBC channels can be changed in the Menu> Edit Channels > Edit Customisable Channels menu; alternatively you can enter a postcode for the region you require.

interestingly it also says.
Can I add channels that are not available through freesat?
Yes, the Foxsat-HD has a freesat mode and a non-freesat mode. Please visit the Advanced Section for more information.

Ive just had a quick look at the initial epg Freesat line up - all the main BBC regions are up in the 900's, although not all the English regions yet.

951 BBC 1 Cl
954 BBC 1 East (W)
957 BBC 1 NI
960 BBC 1 Scotland
964 BBC 1 Wales
969 BBC 2 NI
970 BBC 2 Scotland
971 BBC 2 W

Presumably

101 BBC 1 London
102 BBC 2 London

Im itching to get my sticky mitts on a SD Freesat box so I can have a good play and see what it can do. My local Comet had some of the HD carboard outer boxes on display this afternoon but I aint paying 150 quid for one of them when I dont have a HD TV here.
