Cannot upload or download to new Starview the box super

Sorry guys I usually always update my posts on any of the forums im on.
Im on so many it is difficult sometimes.
I figured the problem out after much surfing.

I should have mentioned that I had tested all the usual stuff - I'm an electrical engineer and systems programmer so all the basic stuff was tested like the cable etc.

After trying to disassemble the loader it turns out the SV3 has an integrated firmware loader - I was using the old gtrom loader package which allows you to select the firmware version for the older sv1/2 boxes.

Just thought I would post back to help anyone else in the same situation.

After having used this box for a while I must admit it has some frustrating points in the epg system and menu ordering - it also randomly reboots usually late at night but that looks like it isnt caused by the box but by the cable company sending an rst signal to the Pace.

The arnet box looks a much better bet but now the sv4 is out with the useful usb pvr functionality im wondering if a new chrimbo pressie is in order.
