cant set netid pace4000 - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

i am using the scart to rs232 adaptor and the box is picked up in libby.i have edited the netid for tw and i execute the set netid wembley and it wont set the netid.i ask libby get netid and its still 0999 and in eng menu it is.

what am i doing wrong?

i tried doing it with funcard but all i get for card status is mute err.nothing happens.i jtag'd the box and i will try later again and see that i got the correct bk but still dont explain why libby can set the netid.

anyone?

sure box is for ur area? 4000t - t/w 4000n - ex c/w?

when you open yyour config file in libby ..click on the one that you want then click get net id, sometimes it helps if you do it more than once

no,got prob.its a 4000n.so it is no good for tw.probably why it wont accept tw netid.

Your right mate,the only way youll get that working is if you lift the chips and program them with a working dump from a 4000t now even thats not 100% to work there are certain board revisions on the 4000 that work and some that dont,they can be tetchy in other areas,but as it is it wont work just by changing the netid and forcing an update sorry mate
