20020004 is the IRD byte you need to use one of the other bytes i posted to get the bk.
If when you p[rogram a card you get a blck screen then the bk is definately wrong.
The 3E number you posted looks ok to a point but you can double check this in the engineers menu the nagra serial code then convert it to see if the ird matches,
But you must use the other bytes to get the bk,you will have to try all of them and see what you get,

the ird is sometimes printed on the inside of the box ontop of the scart sockets so just check that but if its a samsung all of mine start 3E so i recon that would be about right then use the ntl bytes for your area and the software and get the bk also when you right the card check your using the latest flash and keys for your area i put one digit wrong on a card and got a black screen toook me a while to realise my mistakes but ah we learn from them haha

Use the bytes marc gave you, in ocd leave the 0x0 off, type byte 0f69af8 8 exactly with spaces, thats the latest , in bke its 0x00f69af8 you leave last 8 off.

ok guys thanx 4 ur help i will try these bytes and the others marc send. Is this how am supposed to put them byte 0f69af8 for the bke? and also i double checked the ird with negra serial code and it is the right so its 1 down 1 to go.

Yes mate as you say type in byte then the byte address,
Or if you use bke then you edit config 1 or 2

If your on 3.5L then you want the ones posted as before,if you put the box on the stream it will update and you will then need to use a different byte address as the byte addy has changed BUT only if you update the box FIRST if you jtag as you are then use the oold bytes,

hi mate

the box was from different area so needed to change net id and while i was doing that i have updated it, so could that b the reason none of these bytes work for box if so can u help or direct me to other bytes.

Try 0x00895934 8 byte 0895934 8 in ocd or 0x00895934 bke or sdt.

Thanx guys, am sure iwouldn't have done it without u though i can't remmember which bytes worked 4me as i have tried them all but i will try them again and post which bytes worked 4me.

Now I can relax n watch my favr8 team (BARCELONA).
