Hi Guys

My 20 Mb/s modem has stopped working !! is there an attack going at VM's end ??

Probably the mac adress mate,try a new mac on it and see if that helps,no attacks afaik at the moment,

I tried a new Mac...same result !!

nothing comes up !

and yes I was forcing the config file

But good news, I called my friend and told him to sniff for MACs, he got me a few (thanks friend !

)

Now it is all up and running again...I think it needed a FRESH MAC

a MAC is a number unique to your cable modem

it is written under it usually
