Hi rd,
Is the update OTA or do you need to download it and use a nul modem cable to update the box, please? I am getting one from Ian at Southernsatellite, should be with me by Wen.

Very best regards Wez

Thanks Lincs,
I reckon they are very good value and from a very good producer, I have a Humax 8100CI, but never use it now, though it was very good and was what I used till I got my first Dreambox, the 500s.

Very best regards Wez

The Humax 5400 was the original patchers delight

I'm hoping that a Patch appears for this - now that would be something

If the box was in standby over night it would have done the OTA (over the air) download automatic but mine was left on 101 bbc1 not in standby but i selected automatic download in the menu on Saturday morning and it said new software,

Kerry when you get your box when you do a first time install is checks any way for new firmware for you,
