I heard it will and will also have a CI slot but this is what i have been told by humax but i can not guarantee it will,

Also regarding OTA downloads i have also been told by humax there will be another OTA firmware next week when i spoke to humax they have a lot planed for the foxsat HD and so expect OTA downloads almost every week and they have put a lot of money in to the foxsat-hd and it will be well supported,

The updates are OTA,and the Humax Foxsat detects that an update is available,after powering and prompts you on whether you wish to update or not.
In the Settings,there are two options Automatic update or Manual update.
Obviously you can choose to select either.

Here are a couple of "pix" from the Humax site and I can't see where a cam would go.

I hope that you can see them OK, as they are not the best or clearest, but better than nothing.

Thats the Foxsat and I can automatically see where the CI slot would be, on the right where its obviously there for.

When you examine the real McCoy.
It is obvious that the front right hand side,behind the flip down panel,is where the CAM/card slot should have or will be located.
It has a blanking plate,at present,but has faint lines giving the impression of two CAM slots and one card slot.
The left hand buttons are also located behind a front flip panel.

Another useful thread, most helpful to me, I must say both yourself Sat World and Kerrywes, really put stuff up in a positive and helpful way to us
not so indepth fans of FTA.
