hi,
new to all this dbox stuff.... how do i find out the ip address of a dbox if i dont have a remote and cant get into the menu on the tv? is it possible?
that maybe a realy dumb question....but its the tiny piece of info i require to get this dbox up and running....without traveling 250 miles for the remote

Righty ho, what you need to do is locate the default IP address for the installed image (unless, of course you've changed it).

So, what's the image called? If nothing else, I could flash mine and post back with it, I suppose?

well im running the new laky pro... just put it on with ifa... but i can change it no problem to one you know the default ip for??

That won't work as the image I'm using has had its IP changed. This is because of an image I used years ago and ever since then any subsequent image has had its IP addy changed by me.

Isn't there any documentation with laky pro that contains the default IP address?

im gunna have a look found the forums to see if i can find an image with a known default ip...or if anyone knows one..post it here.... at least i know the way to go now.. just need to find a way to get there!

192.168.1.9 is what laky pro - 1 shows.

Gaz I gave Lincsat 3 images to put in the download section, they are called Blade.Fixed.2x.img, CableFerret.Fixed.2x.img and Pacino.Fixed.img. The i.p address of all the image I changed to :-

i.p. 192.168.0.100
subnet 225.225.225.0
default gateway 192.168.0.1

You could flash any of those images, but don't forget to add your service xml's for you area into the zapit files
