Blood pressure sky high plz help

Hi guys
I am new to the forum but have had a look around and looks a great place . How about this for a first post .

Have had TW VM for about 8 years allways had it sorted from analogue right through untill yesterday I was runnin one digital chipped box in the living room an old analogue box in my bedroom and a cloned modem in my bedroom . I pay for 2 analogue boxes and my phone. NOW .I am starting a business and am wanting a viop phone as a business line so wanted a steady BB conection. SO . I phoned VM and asked them to remove my upstairs box and intall a modem downstairs and swap my other analogue box for a digital one ( luckily got hold of a couple of unchipped analogue boxes off a friend to hand back in ).
The guy has been today took the box from upstairs and took away the splitter from the front of my house and done his thing .
When he left I put a splitter back in outside and introduced the new digital box they gave me in my bedroom which works . BUT I cant get 1 ,2 , 3, 4 ,5 . This is the untouched subbed box they have given me .
ALSO the modem which was working before he came now just has the top light on and the next light flashing . I have tried a friends modem which doesnt work either , changed the leads , changed the mac everything please help me before I go demented .
IS is possible to increase decrease the signal strength and that I have too much connected . Apparantly he was out in the street , but we were allready switched on so I dont know why he would be out there .

Any help most welcome

its a signal problem, have a look on fleebay for a signel booster... allso check to see if he has put any fillters in the lline...

Thanks for the help . I have ordered a signal booster off fleabay and will try that ,hopefully that sorts it . How would I check to see if he has put filters in the line and what would this do if he had.
