Default Motor settings?

Hi still experimenting with motor settings on my technomate 1500ci+ added 3 sats so far,but when i try to add others and save them the motor seem to have a wap attack and keeps scanning east to west? Is it better to set up on usals instead of diseq? Cheers

It doesn't really matter which way you do it. I prefer USALS because it is easier and I can't be bothered going through them one by one to save them. It may be that you have a dodgy connection, it should not repeatedly scan East to west whichever method is used.

I have heard of some motors briefly going in one direction and then the other to reduce backlash though, but I have never seen mine do it.
