Default Drowngrading A Firmware

Hey,

I am using a Fortec Star Passion HD receiver

I recently upgraded to the 1.8 BETA, and was wondering how i would go back on this and revert to my original firmware.

I have been looking at the laurals website, and even asked on their forum, but their not very helpful, after informing me there is a way to do it, they wont spend a few moments explaining it...

I want to go back to check some channel editing out, as i cannot seem to load up a channel list on the new BETA version...

Any help with both these problems will be much appreciated..

Won't it just overwrite if you pop the 1.07v available off FS website into the USB?

Being 'official' I thought it should overwrite any Beta software????

I have a FS Passion too btw. What is your verdict of it? I am well impressed with the HD quality and normal 576i quality

Ah well, i no longer need the downgrade. I just put the latest firmware on, and everything is now fine, even ITV HD

Yeah, i wasn't liking it at first but now, with the updates, the box is brilliant.

Excellent price, and works perfectly.

HD picture is great, and yes the SD quality is also very good.

Very happy with my purchase now
