help with programming my funcard

check your net id, which box are you using your probably using the wrong area flash its either tw/ex cw/pure ntl

sorry how do i check my net id. im using a ntl box and im sure im in an ntl area but how do i check for sure. i looked at a list before but i stay in paisley and it only had glasgow 1 and glasgow 2 on it and im not sure which one i am

on bigmaq go to Cable file - area code open that and look for ur area and u will find net id, co provider and more.

checked the list but not sure if in glasgow 1 or 2. the reason i think its glasgow 1 is that my box frequency is set to 755.000

ok then download the funcard au fix from pure ntl. and on your exteep where its say the three providers at the bottom make sure you click on the right one. You can leave the keys out. it will auto update

if this does not work then try tw because thats glasgow 2, its same just get the funcard au fix from tw and do the same for exteep.

If it says smartcard invalid its generaly wrong ird, if your freq is 755,000 your pure ntl, check your ird in eng menu nagra serial ird convert first ten numbers to hex, ird goes in reverse in pairs in rhv1 ie 12 AB 34 CD would be CD 34 AB 12, make sure you havnt confused B for 8 etc.

I have checked my ird and it is right. i was putting it into wrong. not i have put it in right it just says after updating that smartcard isnt inserted properly
