Took the afternoon off work to sort it but feel this system does not work! I would love to hear from anyone who has got the channels to work. Yes I get the normal channels ie bbc etc to work but any other channel says "sorry channel scrambled" I have been on both cs and xcas also selected osd to on and off inserted the number as per page 1 of a well known online gaming firm, tried to update firmware but get message saying I have the latest. Swithched the box off and back on got another message saying ip address found so it appears I have followed everything now for 5 days and nothing I would really appreciate any help or advise on this one.
Regards Jamash |

You will not get Sky channels with this box, is that what you are attempting?
I tested one out yesterday. On Hotbird, the CS works really well, sometimes it takes a second or 2 for the channel to clear, but you expect that, only Nova Greece not Cyprus and all the Porn Channels. In XCAS mode, it cleared both TPS & Polsat updating in a few seconds. I only had problems with Premiere on Astra1 - it always has taken a while to get the update, but yesterday I couldn't get an update at all. I don't know if this is down to Premiere or the box, the developers are looking into it.

Hello people, this is a newbie here. Got Quantum box, connected to sky dish and upgraded system and firmware, getting nothing but rubbish and the scrambled sky channels that I know you cant get. I dont know where the NOVA package is, got no TP 10930 on my list, in fact dont see any of the TP address's listed in post 1. Tried CS and XCAS bugger all happenning. I'm thinking its my dish and have seen this; motorised satellite dish 1.0m DiSEqC 1.2 motor 0.2 LNB on good old ebay and thought this might be the way ahead.

It seems they are good enough with a 60cm or 80cm twin feed system for Astra1 & Hotbird, from around £255 fitted - although the full motorised is more flexible
![]() You do need a dedicated Internet connection for the box for the best results.

Hi guys
I am just about to enter the world of the quantum box and will connect it to my 90cm dish with disecq motor. Does this item need connecting to PC with NULL cable as well as the broadband. Was going to run cat 5 from my office upstairs where router is, but if it requires serial connection then there will be no point. Cant find much support as yet on the Quantum itself. Thanks in advance Dave |
