Question Help needed

Hi,

Followed all instructions and been trying for about 2 hours to get this working without success.

Here’s the problem:

I Scroll down to Automatic Search and select OK.
I Select my provider
I Select “Network” in the channel Search type.
I Then press the Green button on remote to Start the search.

Instead of me being able to choose my area at this point there is a box called "select Tp list" then 7 lines that all say "already exists"

Then is does a channel search with no channels

Then says complete!

Any Ideas??


I have done factory resets and re-flashed the firmware with no avail.

Basically the box does not put up a list of locations. Anybody?

do a factory reset and then follow the same procedure and then it will allow u to select network id

As previously stated in my first comment, i have done factory resets and still nothing.
I can only asume that the tuner is broke.
Anyone else got any ideas?

hmmm had a lot of kv boxes passing through my hand i doubt it is a tuner problem because even if it had a dodgy tuner it would still scan the channels in just they would be that badly pixalated u wouldnt be able to watch them

i would have said do a factory reset first then try the firmware again

did you load the firmware correctly by pressing the correct sequence of buttons when the file was in the loader and alsodid u wait until the box said download success

if you are choosing ntl as your provider, try ex c&W instead. this once happened to me and that fixed the problem...

Have you tried re-flashing your arnet with the latest software 4/4/08..get your box set up with your pc and keep the box unplugged until you start the downloading from the loader... then plug your box to power, this stops the boxes auto search kicking in at the start

Thanks for all the replies, I have done all the above, still no luck. Contacted seller and they are replacing the box.

Cheers for the help, hopefully I shouldn’t get any more probs with next box.

Glad to hear that your getting your box replaced, you hear alot these days about Arnets faulty tuners, but they are still a good box, good luck with your new box..
