Dbox 2 lost channels

Red cross over cable which has worked in the past IFA says box can not be pinged and box just starts up with my last image all the time. I can't do the ftp way which i have done in the past because the ip settings on the box i screwed them up.

Perhaps try a diff crossover cable, maybe it has become broken somewhere along the cable. no ping = no connection

why not just get yourself a null-modem cable and then if you use ifa u should have no problem reflashing ur dbox m8

im sure theres somewhere on this site you can buy them if not then u can get them on ebay

I think i had better get one which type do i need there seem to be quite a few different types?

Yeah i don't know what the hell i am doing wrong brainfreeze as i have done it before lol.

I did manage to do it by ftp flashing the box now i get just kein system hanging.

I have flashed the new image to the box which was laky pro and rebooted now i get kein system. I am trying to flash a new image over using crossover cable to fix it but it will not ping the box. I think i might be better getting one of these leads and trying it with a null modem cable yeah? Will any do or will i have to get a specific one?
