tryin to j tag this box getting ird ok , no bk , am i doin something wrong

run macmot then use bke.

just done that sal , geeting all weird numbers , def not the bk or ird now lol

all you have to do,is connect your jtag to the pcs parellel port,run macmot,then power on the box,no need to put it on tv just use power lead,i just boot it to eng menu.

tthen put the jtag pogo pins on jtag points and open bke,choose samsung 2100 for your area,it can only be c&w or davic,then hit connect and you should get your ird and bk in the boxs.

what type jtag are you using?

done exactly that sal , im still getting ird no bk, and im using a pogo j tag, that i bought from good old lincsat

YOu will need to edit the config file in bke to accomodate the new byte addresses,if you dont edit the config then you wont get the bk

ok would i be right in saying that the byte for pure is 0x00895934, and this goes into single device in directory setup

I had same prob for 3 days luckily i sorted it out today. These are the bytes that worked 4m3
N*L Pure
IRD =0x20020004
BOXKEY =0x00f69af8

I just tried this method interesting can get my ird and bk, but then guess what black screen channels again for me like it has for the past 12 hours with another diffrenent bk on top bwhaaahahahaaaa!
I noticed a reverse ird box in bke... so reverse ird's can work as well?? (already tried that with no luck).

If your getting black screen with no error box its usually wrong bk.
