Question Which card to buy ??

OK, so here's what I'm thinking of doing...

To cut down on having multiple receivers (which will happen one day..) I intend to build a Media Centre machine in some cards in it. The question is which would be the best to buy ??? I've seen cheap ones £26 up to £150 but whats support and do the emmulators / cards etc work with only a few cards ?? Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Rich

Do you need HD, more specifically HD over DVB-S2? If so, then your choice is significantly limited, the market in this area has not had developed yet in my opinion and neither the software.

For DVB-S, then I recommend the Skystar 2. It will let you watch BBC HD (if you have PC with plenty of computational power), 4:2:2 feeds, and the software support is fantastic. There is a large user base so plenty of support from the community and they have also developed some fantastic tools such as Diseqc 1.2 support which is not supported by the drivers.

A quick search on eBay, will get you started.
