hi ive got a eurovox but a friend has sky and wanted the same kind of thing, whats the best to get and what does he need? any links etc will be helpfull or just info thanks.

Its not possible to h&ck sky like it is with the cable services. Either he subscribes or he does without.

To be strictly honest there is an alternative IF hes reasonably technically savvy - the new generation of sat boxes which allow card sharing. However, by the time you have paid the c/s fee for a commercial server you may as well have paid sky in the first place.

im afraid that skys codes can never be broken.they have something in place that prevents it.all the other cable providers at some stage have wanted to rent it of them but thankfully sky declined the offers

Ermm, Sky isn't a cable company, and the German satellite package Premiere is apparently moving towards using NDS in the near future.
