i am looking into enhancing my internet speed. i have a scientifric atlanta webstar epc 2100 modem . what should i do? should i buy a special modem from a special auction site or could i modify my existing modem

Probally the best way is to buy a pre flashed modem. As then if anything goes wrong you have at least 1 working modem.
