Newbie in need of some help with cable tv

Hi and thanks for reading my thread. I'm new here and need some information about re chipping my old ntl box. I know Virgin has taken over ntl.

I have a pace box and a Infinity USB Phoenix box but never used it. I need the current hex files and some instructions on what to do. I also have other boxes i can use if my pace box does not work. Please let me know if one reprogrammed card will work on all boxes or is this not true?

Please help. I searched for files on this forum but have not had any joy. From what i've read i need a fun card 4.3 for my cable box?

regrogrammed card will work for the box that you programmed for, it will not work for any other pace box unless you have the bk & ird of other box then you can progromme the card again with the bk & ird.
yes can get any funcard, its the easiest to programme.

u need to get the ird and boxkey of each box that u want to work, if u already have a card in it, u may be able to read it, if not depending on the box u may find it in the database, if not then perhaps a pnp led simm or pogo cable.

depends what type of box you got.bk stands for BOX KEY.if you tell us what version box you got then you will be told what you need to get the bk.

i am new member i have be reading a lot in the forums, my problem is that i dont new how do get the bk i have a old pace box i think it is 4001 if there is impossible do get the bk what do i need to the led simm

Ird is 8 digit number & letter mixed which you will need when programming, Download bigmaq toolbar should get the correct files then

hi,

I've downloaded and installed the bigmaq toolbar. I'm looking for the files i need but dont know which file i should use.

I have a Pace Di1010T Phase 1b box and the card that it came with is a telewest card. When I try to auto read this card it says it cannot recognise the card and needs to erase all data to rescan. I tried to erase and rescan but it still does not let me know what card it is.

Please can you give me filenames that i need to use and which card i should select?
Im very new to this and all the help i can get would be great.
