Newbie in need of some help with cable tv

The card that came with my chipped box is a wafer card 16c84 and im looking for the new updates files as this card no longer works.

What type of card is that mate fun or atmega etc ? most are in downloads, read downloads post in private fta section for access.

How longs the not been working i take it was glitched in begining was working for a while then went off , and your just tryin to reprog card and its not letting u read in nagra, on that basis it could be the card is mashed. best thing is pogo to get bk ird or its lifting the atmels which is shitty job, theres away of getting bk from ird of 1000 boxes isnt there,so check if any of your boxes r 1000's it be piss.

Thanks for your reply reddiesel. The Card that came with the cable box is the standard cable card but the card i just brought is 10X open fun cards ver 4. I need to program it for North London area. Please can you help me in giving me some instructions?

Try reading the card with phoenix programmer in nagra edit 4.1 if its locked it may be easier as blankcard said to j tag or led simm depending on box to obtain box key, has box been modded before ? codes may be written under box or inside lid ?
What box is it ? what area are you ntl c&w tw ?
