Default Setting Net-id with Funcard.

I have been trying to set my net id with the funcard method and everytime I read the guide in the sticky and follow it word for word. I cant seem to make it work.

I'm using a basic funcard proggy from TMC and Funprom 3.0.
I have selected win 98 mode and installed nt driver and re-booted my system after doing that.

I keep on getting error messages like,
No device found at selected LPT port! Abort!

Unknown processor ID! Abort!

Has anyone else come across these errors or know what I'm doing wrong.

Does it connect through lpt1 and not com port ? if so in my computer click on view system information > hardware > device manager > ports com+ lpt > ecp printer port lpt1 > port settings make sure enable legacy p+p is ticked.

Sounds like driver problem then, If you google jabs place or big maq tool bar under traders, you can download funmagic and a few others to try.

Did you short the battery or pull red jumper first, this sets box to 9999 first then you put card in.
How did you sort the programmer? What box is it your doing ?
I guess your ex c&w with 41069.
