Default Freesat

Hi Guys

I've just had my FTA satellite receiver replaced due to the problem earlier, but now am confused about Freesat. Will I be able to pick up ITV HD broadcasts on my Fortec Star? Or, as according to the ITV website, HD will be available "exclusively to Freesat" customers. I'm not sure if that means you need to have a dedicated Freesat receiver? If so, I feel really cheated as I've only just bought my HD receover a couple of months ago. Does anyone know if this situation is likely to change?

ITV HD now works on the Technomate HD boxes with the latest patch, so I guess it'll work on the Fortec at some stage if not already.

Yes, the Fortec Passion was the first box to view ITV HD successfully.

If you go onto the official Fortec Star website, you can download the latest Firmware, and loader version, which will then make ITV HD compatible on the box.

I have it myself, and ITV HD works perfect since the firmware was installed.
