Default Attenuator Help??

Hi guys...last night i installed a Philex attenuator ( variable one) 0-20 db....i managed to pick up the majority of channels...movies,sports sky...all the fairly high frequency channels..but never the lower freq ones below 480 mhz...Came in from work today and the signal strengths had changed..up slightly and all channels breaking up slightly again
Ive got the coax line coming in...took the isolator out as it seemed to cause probs...then split the signal between b.b and euro vox...the attenuator is then fed off the coax into the back of the ev box via the attenuator...is this correct?
Any advice ..?????
Also how come i cant get all channels when adjusting??
HELP PLSE?

Default Re: Attenuator Help??

best thing to do is make a note of the signal strength when no pixelation bollox is happening then when it starts, try fiddling with the attenuator untill you get the same signal strength.

Also you could try the following, in this order:
1. Once the attentuaor has been fitted, do an suto scan.
2. Flash the box again!

Let me know how it goes man!
