I think that is one of the biggest drawbacks with Vista, it's lack of drivers. I have a USB to serial adaptor which will not work with Vista, but it has no problem with XP. For all the hype that went before Vista's release I must say that I was somewhat disappointed with the end product, I would remove it from my Laptop, but it is not that old and if I did I would void the warranty, so I am stuck with it for the time being.

Very best regards Wez

well I have an usb serial adapter bought from maplins and it works like a dream in vista. No problem installing nor using. I used a tit card in phoneix mode with cas studio. Opened up Nagra and write the image to the card no problems at all. CHeck which com port it is set at from the device manager and change it to the correct com port that your program is using.
