i cant imagine that as i know that the tv licensing detector vans couldn;t detect people who had some form of digital tv,ie they only could pick up anologue signals so it will have to be some serious technology to pick up digital signals,it might be that they where grassed id say..

If you have a subscribed box with talkback enabled, that is not only possible but highly likely I would say.

I agree with lincsat!

Having one subbed box with tb enabled and one let's say, in another room with tb strangled. Will not make any difference... you'll be ok.

Remember, the cable to our boxes have all the channel signals coming through them... each channel is "turned on/off" at the box with the card.

With talk-back "disconnected" your box can not communicate in ANYWAY (it does try too but can't)... a one sided conversation. Your box does not need to "talk" at all to receive the signals and display the channels.

The boxes simply do not talk to eachother... only to your cable company.

Now... I would be interested to find out what is on the mind of mept1.

What are YOU thinking my friend?
