Problem patching 5400 - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

I followed instructions carefully. Did first time patch with null cable etc. Came up with this problem.

I am after Premiere sports portal, can find the channel but it still says scrambled channel.

When I go onto the system information menu, all the encryptions are listed there. Do I need to select them? Or is something still not working correctly?

Hi mate,

You should not have to do anything the patch should be on as normal. There is a way in the menu somewhere to turn au on and off but I'm not sure on how to do that. Premier have not changed keys in ages. Have you left it on the channel for a period of time to see if it auto updates. If this fails you could load one of the softcams. You can get them at alsat forum or satdownloads.

What happens when you press mute and exit??
