EPG Not found.

Hi there.

I bought my D-BOX about 2 months ago. Had problems at the start saying EPG not found when I had the Blade image. I gave it to someone to fix and they did so whilst updating the image to andromeda.

All had been well up to now. It is now saying EPG not found. All the channels are showing in the listings but there is no picture. I attempted a scan but by the time I had reached 100 transponders searched nothing had shown so I cancelled the scan. I have also tried rebooting the box and switching off at the wall and leaving for half an hour before switching back on. All has failed. It did bring the time back at least.

(edit) I have also noticed on Sky sports 1 the only channel that works for some reason that it says INT in a orange box at the bottom of the screen when you change the channel. The rest say FTA in a green box at the bottom of the screen.

I had previusly had problems witht the box freezing when I had been out for a day or 2 with the box left on. Could this be related?

Any help too fix this problem would be grately appreciated.

Not sure if this is the answer, but i had a similar problem after flashing my box, i got the channel list up but was getting channel not available. So i changed the ucode, restarted the box and it works fine now.

Thanks very much for your response. I was wondering why no one was responding. I don't know a lot about the d-box. How do you change the ucodes and where do you find them?

The keys you get from Bigmaq are all up to date. The only channel I currently seem to have working is sky sports one for some reason the rest are no working.

On mine i go to blue button, then system menu and then ucode selection, mine was set at 001A but i was getting a freeze so i altered it to built in and its been fine since.

Apart from that mate if it dont work then im not sure, not that clued up myself but been picking a few tips of the good people on here.

Thanks very much for the reply. On my one I clicked the blue button then went into andromeda settings then ucodes. One is activated on mine too. The 001A like yours. Tried some of the other ones like ucode vortex and intern but did not work could not find the inbuilt one. Cheers for your help though.

Whats the ucode at the top say?
On my menu it says the words built in, which is at the top.

Not sure then mate sorry.

The ucode at the top of the screen says "UCODE_0013 deactivated"

My dbox a day after my last post was working again. I simply left it switched off then when I switched it back on it was working fine. Up until today now it is saying no EPG found. I do despair. I only hope it is another temporary thing.

I am at a complete loss as to what is wrong with it.

Regarding the freezing, i went to driver boot menu, turned on enx watchdog (sagem), hardware sections and pmt update. Made sure spts mode was off.

Box has been fine since, apart from a split second freeze but it worked ok after that. had no further problems.

CAnt think of what else mate apart from maybe flash a new image on??
