Im gonna watch it this morning on the repeats at the moment its a just a screen with a judgement day poster on saying which number you have to call to subscribe. Will it still show it when the programmes start at 9pm?

I had the preview of the Hatten fight on last night, then it went off
after a short while the message came up "code updating" I then waited about 10-15 min's and nothing happened, so i did a auto scan,

it then came back on, its still on now (or was earlier this evening when I checked)

I now have two question/problems/query's (call them what you want)

1) what happened to the so called auto updating (new software etc)

2) can someone please tell me (or remind) how to rescan a certain channel rather than the whole lot, I was shown this but can't remember the exact way I was shown when the guy came and updated the software on my box

go to the channel thats breaking up, press the info button twice and note the frequency.(eg 522.000mhz).
go to menu, instalation, user instalation, enter pin.
you will now see a list of frequencies.
scroll down to the frequency that you noted before. (eg 522.000mhz).
press green button. ch edit.
press blue button. modify.
useing the numbers on the remote add 0.5 mhz to the frequency. (eg 522.000mhz becomes 522.500mhz.)
press ok.
it will say please wait to save data.
press exit.
if the picture is now stable,all is well.
if the picture is better but still glitches go back and add another 0.5mhz.
if the picture is worse go back and subtract 1mhz.

PPV movies/events can only be unscrambled by the Eurovox when someone in your area has paid for that movie/event. When the channel displays the 'code updating' message, this simply means that no movie/event is currently available for unscrambling in your area.

To rescan a specific frequency simply go to Menu / Installation / User Installation (pin 1004). Go to the frequency you wish to rescan, highlight it and press ok (a tick will appear beside it) and red button to update. This will rescan all the channels only on that frequency

don't think thats what I'm looking for
when I got my Eurovox updated with the new firmware
the guy told/showed me a way of updating a missing channel
by simply retuning the channel

that very night I did what he showed me (as Setanta Sports News) had gone off

I did what he showed me and it came back on, the problem is now I can't remember what or how to do it

tried a couple of things last night, what ever i tried resulted in either a full scan or a autoscan on "all" the channels

There is more than one box office channel. When you autoscan, you might pick up a new PPV feed. My box - I only have one PPV Channel so its really down to which feed I manage to pick up on a re-scan.

just tried this, and after pressing the red button, its now doing a full autoscan, even though I ticked a certain channel/frequency


must of been something else, because what I was showed only updated a certain channel/frequency back to the drawing board then
