Hi, i reecently bought a Eurovox, however I have since realised that I cannot update firmware or cdf files as I do not have the correct port on my laptop which connects to the null modem cable I have been given.
I have seen a USB to RS232 convertor on Amazon and would like to know if something like this would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

I got usb adaptor from Maplins. Worked perfectly. The drivers seem to be the problem with adaptors being a bit hit and miss. Buy from a reputable source and you should'nt have a problem.

Thats good to hear, from what i now understand that usb adaptors work fine as long you have the correct drivers. Hopefully should be getting one very soon.
Thanks for all your help. |
