Mosc card Question

I've recently purchased a Sammy 2110c with the (one with the ntl logo on it) orginal mosc card that come with the box. Now i've done the talk back service. The problem am having is getting access to the card. Every time i insert into my infinity card reader. it comes up straight away asking something about deleting the data on the card and something about CPU dection. Which i press cancel to. Now the options i get is

Wafercard (16C84)
Wafercard (16C84(A))
Goldcard

when picking any of them i only get PIC and ext.eeprom. usually one my fun card i get a few more options like FLASH? right thats my 1st issue.

2nd issue is i've been reading a few tut's and they haved advised i can get the ird from the card using nargaedit. When using that program and using "read card option" i get

Opening of com1 was succussfull
Reset failed!
error reseting card,ATR string invalid
Closing com1 was succussfull

I've set it on phoneix mode 3.68mhz. i've tried a few others but still get the same. Now my issue is i don't really wana wipe the mosc because it will be more headache then anything getting the ird.

Any Suggestions?

You just use nagra edit 4.1 with phoenix mode to read card, dont use programmer software, have you put card in the right way up ? unless your settings are wrong that card is toast .

check settings ( com port) clean card contacts, try again

Red when you say "the card is toast" what does this mean exactly ?

Also if a card is toast, can it be brought back from dead using an Unlooper or something ??

If its toast then its screwed as in no good it cannot be recovered with no atr.

These Mosc cards are more headache then anything i've got a spare atmega card to use. What would be the next steps in getting that card programed?

You need to know your IRD and Box Key in order to programe the ATMega !

I understand that part Ciwan. But i've been told its a bit of job getting off a sammy 2110c is that correct?

yes that is correct you need to do it through Glitching the Paired card ! ..and like Red said above if the Card is "toast" then I don't know how you can get the IRD and BK !!

I don't like Sammy 2110 > Pace and Sammy 2100C are ACE

The orginal card is just playing up in nargaedit 4.1. on the card it says nargaID JA-01. thing is am using infinity usb and there isn't a way you can select com ports. i've got a feeling its got something to do with com ports.
