Hi,
I think that your Passion may have done a factory reset when installing the new firmware and loader versions onto the receiver. If so you'll have to scan all over again. Next time its best to make a channel backup on the receiver, just incase this happens again. Although i've not had this problem myself on my Passion HD... |

Has anyone any idea how you use the programme you can download from Fortec which enables you to sort out channels on the pc and transfer them to the receiver i think its called Setedit Passion.

Yes, i have used it myself.
If you go to _http://laurals.net/fortecstar_passion_software.htm Click 'How To' on the top left hand side. There is a guide there that tells you how to save you current channel list to a USB memory stick, and how to load from USB memory stick to your Passion receiver. Once saved to a memory stick, load up SetEditPassion and load your channel list. From there you can edit the channel list you currently have, add new channels to it, remove channels, and change the order they are in. Then save the channel list back to the memory and follow the guide on how to load back to the receiver. |

Many thanks for all the help. The box of tricks now has decided not to store any satellite positions. When you go to a channel it goes completely west or east.Would I be better turning off and starting again from factory settings or would I be better sending it back to Maplins and buying a better quality receiver as suggested on other forum?
