Default dish sizes

i was wondering what is the biggest dish size that id be able to get away with without planning permission ? i know that 1 meter is the official size but what size is the biggest that you can get away with thats over 1 meter ? im asking for when me & my lady get our own place (which wont be for awhile), but im just asking as a reference. also how easy is it to get planning permission ?

thanks in advance.

well i had a 1.8 meter and just put it up . if you get on ok with your neighbours . but as said 1 meter with out premission what you should as if what satellite do you want to get , as some in the uk will need 2 to 4 meters and thats a lot of cash . a good 1.8 will cost with mount over £ 900.00 and i found the extra you get is sod all . i sold mine . 1 meter to 1.2 will not give mich more .

Depending on your location, you may get the horizontals as well as the verticals on 7W.

Yes i have planning permission it was easy for me to get as i have no houses near me also if you live in a houses estate as long as you have a 6 foot / 180cm fence about there is no reason they will not grant you permission as long as the install is done tidy,
