Default Atmega Help Please

Hi everyone. I have successfully programmed a funcard, and then tried to to a friends Atmega card for him. I copied his exteep from the card and then applied the latest patch from Bigmaq for the atmega - the redneck6. When the card is placed in the box - its a pace 4010, the lcd runs different numbers and then the card says invalid. I programmed the Atmega to work on my box, also a 4010 and it worked fine. He lives in the Leigh area near manchester, and I assume he is in a t***w**t area as this was his previous provider. Am I doing anythig obviously wrong. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

If he is using a 4010 and its trying to update (eg rolling numbers) i would say he is in pure area (N*L) as 4010 boxes only works in pure (even though novice guide says otherwise i do not know of one person who has got one working in ex-CW)
