Sorry to be a bother, but I'm doing a starview box (updating) & I'm getting an error message :-( STB Model is blank and I don't know what to put on it!? I've done a few EuroVox's before but I'm completely lost on this star view one! Any help will be very much appreciated!! I'm using GTRom v4.00, Could someone please tell me if this is correct or any help at all! Many many thanks!

From what you say you do have a Starview 1

I take it you are trying put the cryptstar 1.4 fix on.

STB Model GCR 3510 will PM you.

hi im newish to this game but try turn the starview off click download then turn it on that works with some of them .

Still having trouble, I downloaded a file & when it finished it still displays the same software ie.
SYSTEM iNFORMATON
STAR VIEW
API ver : 4.00e_E
Boot Ver : 7.0
7.Jun.2007
Im having a little trouble now with which file to pick as in
Application
Channel
or Boot
Any help please! Much appreciated!

open gt4 highlight app file only click bin put cryptstar v 1.4 core 400 in and click download thats all i do

Firmware does not change as it a fix not a update

Thanks Jonpc, I would have been at it forever waiting for the date to change! I have it done now, working perfect! thanks JoJo 1405 for all your help too! My neighbor is Very happy Now!!... (and so am I, I don't like anything to get the better of me like that, Lol)

hi when i conect my starview 1 to my pc nothing open up. im using all the correct cables and i think iv downloaded all the right software.
does anyone have any idea why this is

can anyone help me i have a sv1. box living close 2 dublin lost all channels when they were knocked off. got a arnet750 after that then all the main channels went bar nick disc and a lot of fta channels its maby a stupit question but can i get fta software 4 my sv1 want 2 give it 2 my son thanks guys
