Default powersync trim pot

hi all, can anyone help i have a powesync which ive set to 2.2ohms with the trim pot using a multimeter but when i start any script it as no effect if i run sidewinder the vdc starts green then just keeps going up until it its red if i adjust the trim pot it as no effect wont go up or down i only have dip switch 1 on am i missing something? if i put the multimeter on the test points when i start a script it goes off the scale if anyone has a powersync please can they see if this is normal if possible, i got my powersync from america it as 7 dips 1-4 clock,5 flash 6+7 unused but dip 7 is attached to the diode mode un the underside of the powersync, i have currently newd11x flash installed i dont know if this info matters but if anyone can help i would really appreciate, thanks.

i stopped using mine for the same reason it was killing any card that i tried to open gone back to t911

set the pot to about 90 ohms and set dips to 1 only.

thanks for the replies, i set the ohms to 90 but its still not looking good im not sure why but what ever i set the vcc to it still shows red inside sidewinder

just a quick thought but could it be my com port settings or my serial cable thats causing the problem

ive just tried another serial cable no change can someone who uses a powersync or any other unlooper for that matter post their com port settings if they dont mind so i can compare them, thanks.
