A friend of mine uses a laptop. His set up was USB 2.0 to RS232. I think he used another cable in-between from the RST to max. I think it depends on your male female connecters for your set-up also to work. I remember him having to alter one of them or get rid of it. You will have to mess about with your ports but that was easy sorting out.You should get drivers with usb 2.0 to rs2. If you have not got one yet and are not in an hurry fleabay might be your cheapest option,otherwise try someone like maplins(they are on-line). They are not the cheapest,off the top of my head i think about 20-25 quid. They are no better quality than fleabays but like i said depends how quick you want one.They do the job you want though whoever you opt to buy from.
