I am also wondering what the appeal would be to having that in your home. Besides taking up room, it looks like you would have trouble being able to move the system around, and what if you want to take it with you somewhere for the weekend? It would be interesting to hear the pros for having this in your home....

its a sweet machine if its in the kids play room, or posibly a garage that has been converted into a games room.
my friend has a garage thats a games room, pool table, football table, darts, 2 bandits, and a classic arcade game with hundreds of arcade games installed on it. oh yeah also a air hockey table. he would love that in his garage! buy it buy it! (only for the right reasons any how, i wouldnt have it in my house!) |

I think I said this before, so forgive me if I am being redundant.
We have two living areas in our home. One is upstairs for the kids, family and guests. It is a catch all entertaining/living area. The other one is downstairs and is pretty much my boyfriend's domain. This is 'his' room. (We each have our own 'rooms' in the house) His interests are largely gaming and movies, so setting up a projector with the gaming consoles was a perfect thing for him. When I have guests, or am spending time with the kids - he can disappear into his room and keep himself occupied. I admit, I also love to venture down there and play games or watch movies on the big screen with the projector - it is like having a movie theater in the house. This is definitely not something you would want in your main livingroom, however, as I can see a lot of arguing and complaining coming from shared spaces. |

I hear ya. I don't think I would want the store display in my house, but it may cut down on the amount of time the kids spend playing on it - how long can they really stand there playing games? (Then again I have been quite surprised by the amount of things my kids do I would neer suspect....he he he!)
