hello, i have some 250 modems and some of them looks to work fine, but
have one, when im connecting by max going to option 1, 2, p when pres p nothing happend, it's just keep booting till finish, never have this prob before, think that modem could get new upgrade? i had some modems when option 1, 2, p not appear on screen so i know that this one have to be done by lifting a chip. anyone answer? |

The only round it then is to lift the chip and re-flash it!!!
Not really understanding what u on about, u say that it keeps running when you try and press the P option, Then u say that you know the ALEX Firmware... Well what it will keep doing if it has took the alex firmware, it will load but when you try and press the P option it just keeps loading and goes on scanning freq at the bottom of hyperterminal!!!! ![]() |

yeah, putty show me the same problem, it could be hardware fault not a software, have a look on this log
Enter '1', '2', or 'p' within 2 seconds or take default... p. pp. Performing CRC on Image 2... pDetected LZMA compressed image... decompressing... Target Address: 0x80010000 ........ | Build Date: Dec 6 2004 | | Build Time: 15:26:46 | | Built By: eric | | Firmware version : 2.94.1010 | | Hidden version : 2.94.1010b | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Console is Disabled by Vendor Profile as u can see it's not alex's soft, i'll try to lift the chip but have to find tutorial first ;-) anyway thanks boys. |
