Default Should i keep old box

Hi all, just a quick enquiry, i'm getting a KV box when it arrives and i already get tv,phone, tinternet from v**n, i'm not bothered about cutting any services, just pay what i pay, but can i put a splitter in and run my v***n box upstairs(with the channels i get now) and have my KV box downstairs, and if so is there anything i should do to keep v***n from figuring out i got a KV box running? apart from chaning the box over if i get a prob with the service, lol
