hi all. been having same problems with eurovox maX V 2008. bad signal quality. jumps from 84% to 3 or 4 %. doesn't find all transponders. doesn't find all channels. chirpy bad signals all over shop. tried booster. tried attenuator. fixed / variable. no use. tried raw cable feed from box outside house. no joy. took it to my friends house over the road and it works fine. i programmed it all at his house. found every channel. took it home and back to chirpy bag of sh1te. been pulling my hair out since i bought the damn thing.code updating / no signal.
put the old n~l box on and that seems o.k.but it only works like a free view. now heres the cure if you can call it that. my dad is moving to a non cable area so he lent me his old starview box to try. fookin hell it works like a dream. lack of pre programmed favourites is a pain in the arse but thats better than chirpy chirpy cheep cheep all day.so i suggest if you know someone with a different style of box. starview / older eurovox try that at your house and see if it's ok. hope it helps you like it has me
