box says 999, screen says no signal channel 4

Hi
I have 4001 box , pure area.

This box was gathering dust for a year and I am preparing it to give to a friend, so need it to get sorted.

The bxo was originally stuck at tune, but after a few fiddling with the removal of pin, I have managed to get it through the tune and update (I think ) process.

But now its stuck at 999 on the box and screen says no signal channel4.
There are no cards in the box.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Can you get into engineers menu to check net id ? if it says **** its still stuck in tune, have you tried pulling red jumper then reboot, Is that what you mean pin ?

Hi

999 was actually just a number on display, on the box, when I chose one of the other free channel, it did go to it.
But when I want to watch any other channels it shows blank screen.

I have tested the same flash and exteep( after changing ird and box),it works fine for the other box but not for this one. Any ideas please?

check ur bk & ird make sure to fill in the cam id aswell these may cause the error 999
